1st Logo (1957-1964)

Logo: We see a black and white silhouette of the side of the logo. It then rotates to show a man playing a sitar on top of two large Ps that are side by side on top of a pedestal with the company's name and "MADRAS" on it .

FX/SFX: The lights and the logo rotating, which is probably a live action logo that was probably turned by hand.

Music/Sounds: A relaxing sitar tune.

Availability: Seen on Sasural, Chhoti Bahen, Beti Bete, Sharadaand Hamrahi.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (1968-1992)

Logo: The same as the previous logo, but the logo is on a red background, the statue seems to be made with bronze, and the "PP" and pedestal are white/light blue/yellow (depending on the movie). In addition, this time, the pedestal contains only the name of the company in yellow or dark red.

Variant: On some films, the man touching the sitar is left handed, and in other films is right handed.

FX/SFX: See previous logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Seen on many films released by the company during the period.

Editor's Note: None.
