1st Logo (1989-1992)

Nickname: "The P Horn"

Logo: On a pink/white gradient background, an blue abstract P with a phonograph shown inside it rises up and rotates at a squashed angle, before eventually straightening out and rotating into place, while zooming out to the left side of the screen. The text "AUDIO VIDEO SERVICE, INC.", in a thin black Futura font, slides in from the top right corner of the screen, taking up most of the screen before zooming out and rotating to place itself underneath the P. "PRECISION", in the same style, flies in from the right while upside down, before rotating straight up and positioning itself on the left side of the P. The logo is fully complete, but the entire screen then flips one rotation and shrinks into a rectangle placed in the top left corner, revealing a dark blue background with zooming stars. The company name, still in Futura but in gold with a trail and a white 4-pointed star rotating inside it, zooms into the middle of the screen.

FX/SFX: The rotating pieces, the background transition.

Music/Sounds: A synthesized MIDI fanfare.

Availability: Rare. Seen on earlier Video CD and Laserdisc releases of their videoke titles.

2nd Logo (1992-2000's)

Nickname: "The P Horn II"

Logo: On a white background, the same P from before, but in a powder blue color, slides in from the right side of the screen, stopping just shy to the left edge. The text "PRESICION", in the same font as before but also in powder blue, comes in from the top left and stacks itself to the left of the P. "AUDIO VIDEO SERVICE, INC.", same as before but with powder blue, then rises up letter by letter. They start off slow and close together, but get more spaced out and faster the farther they go.

Variants:

  • An upgraded variant appeared in 2002, remade in CGI. The P, now rendered as a larger, sky blue, 3D object, slides in from the left at a upwards angle. As it reaches its position, it does one diagonal rotation, straightening itself upwards. "PRESICION" comes down the same way, but in a much smaller Arial font, leaving larger spaces. "AUDIO VIDEO SERVICE, INC." slides in from the left, now in a sky blue Arial font, with the letters rotating around before it stops.
  • The above variant has a alternate version where the P and "PRESICION" are positioned in the middle and a bit higher as well, and "AUDIO VIDEO SERVICE, INC." is underneath the logo.

FX/SFX: The sliding logo parts.

Music/Sounds: Same as before.

Availability: Common. Seen on all of their releases from 1992 onwards.
