Background
In January 1984, two Canadian pay channels Premier Choix and TVEC were merged into it's current name which retains Premier Choix programming, and adding TVEC cartoons and hockey games. It was later renamed to Super Écran in October 1984.

Visuals: On a zooming space background, two black squares with an animated gold border with the logos for TVEC and Premier Choix in both sides begin to zoom out and slide into each other, forming a yellow flash, and they settle in both sides. Two gold bars shoot in the middle to form the colon in gold.
