Background
Producciones Zacarías was a film company founded by Miguel Zacarías.
1st Logo (May 13, 1949-1952?)
Logo: We see the following text on a dark background:
LA MARCA
DE LAS GRANDES
PELICULAS DE HABLA
HISPANA,
which in Spanish means "The mark of the great Spanish Language films". After that, we see some searchlight pointing over a large 3D zooming "Z". Above it we see "PRODUCCIONES" and "ACARIAS" on the right side of the "Z" (the name of the company, Zacarías). Below the Z we see "MEXICO". The searchlight continues to point over the logo.
Technique: 2D animation.
Music/Sounds: A dramatic orchestra fanfare.
Availability: Can be seen on some films like Necesito Dinero, El dolor de los hijos and Ahí viene Martín Corona.
2nd Logo (1954-1966?)
Logo: We see a street, possibly from Mexico DF, and suddenly we see "MEXICO" appearing. Then, the tower from the previous logo zooms in.
Technique: Live action and cel animation.
Music/Sounds: A stock majestic orchestral theme.
Availability: Can be seen on some B&W films like Fuerte, audaz y valiente, Cuidado con el amor, Escuela de música or La batalla de los pasteles.
3rd Logo (January 2, 1964-????)
Logo: Superimposed against the opening scene of the film, there is a royal blue circle containing a cursive "Z". Around it are 2 sets of texts, respectively "Producciones" on the left, and "Zacarías" on the right, both of which are in a cursive font, and "MEXICO"
Technique: 2D animation and live action.
Music/Sounds: The film's opening theme.
Availability: Only seen on Buenos días, Acapulco.
