1st Logo (1949-1952?)
Nicknames: "The Z Tower", "Mexican Fox Tower"
Logo: We see the following text on a dark background: LA MARCA DE LAS GRANDES PELICULAS DE HABLA HISPANA
, which in Spanish means "The mark of the great Spanish Language films". After that, we see some searchlight pointing over a large 3D zooming "Z". Above it we see "PRODUCCIONES" and "ACARIAS" on the right side of the "Z" (the name of the company, Zacarías). Below the Z we see "MEXICO". The searchlight continues to point over the logo.
FX/SFX: The searchlights and the zooming of the logo.
Music/Sounds: A dramatic orchestra fanfare.
Availability: Can be seen on some films like Necesito Dinero, El dolor de los hijos and Ahí viene Martín Corona, and can be found on YouTube.
Editor's Note: None.
2nd Logo (1954-1966?)
Fuerte, audaz y valiente (1963)
Logo: We see a street, possibly from Mexico DF, and suddenly we see "MEXICO" appearing. Then, the tower from the previous logo zooms in.
FX/SFX: The zooming of the logo and "MEXICO" appearing.
Music/Sounds: See the 1st logo.
Availability: Can be seen on some B&W films like Fuerte, audaz y valiente, Cuidado con el amor, Escuela de música or La batalla de los pasteles, and can be found on YouTube.
