1st Logo (1980s-1990s)

Logo: We are introduced with a black background. Then, the logo zooms in; a black oval with reddish outlines. Inside it is a circle of abstract lines, resembling a fingerprint. Over the circle of lines is, in 3D, "PPFN" in yellow with red sides. On the top right corner of the circle of lines is the Garuda Pancasila logo, Indonesia's coat of arms. Directly below "PPFN" is "PUSAT", and below it, written in arch, "PRODUKSI FILM NEGARA". On the left and right sides of the oval is cotton and paddy, which is the fifth principle of Pancasila's symbol. On the top left corner of the oval is 5 gold stars. The logo zooms in and stops on a comfortable position, in which the words "Pusat Produksi Film Negara" wipes in. Afterwards, it fades into a black background with "mempersembahkan" (presents) written in yellow lettering on it.

Variants: Due to film deterioration, the logo may be shown in a light pink hue, like most of the movies of the time.

FX/SFX: The zooming logo and wiping text. Pretty simple but effective animation.

Music/Sounds: A bombastic and patriotic horn fanfare.

Availability: Was seen on Si Unyil (which aired on TVRI), Pengkhianatan G30S-PKI, and so on.

Editor's Note: The fanfare is very loud and the logo zooming in slowly into the screen may remind someone of the V of Doom, but the animation isn't really that scary. Still, the darkness added into the logo may also produce more scares.
