1st Logo (1980s)
Logo: On a black background, the logo zooms in; a black oval with reddish outlines. Inside it is a circle of abstract lines, resembling a sunburst. Over the circle of lines is, in 3D, "PPFN" in yellow with red sides. On the top right corner of the circle of lines is the Garuda Pancasila emblem, Indonesia's coat of arms. Directly below "PPFN" is "PUSAT", and below it, written in arch, "PRODUKSI FILM NEGARA". On the left and right sides of the oval is cotton and paddy, which is the fifth principle of Pancasila's symbol. On the top left corner of the oval is 5 gold stars. The logo zooms in and stops on a comfortable position, in which the words "Pusat Produksi Film Negara" wipes in. Afterwards, it fades into a black background with "mempersembahkan" (presents) written in yellow lettering on it.

Departemen Penerangan R,L.
wipes in below the symbol, and stays static for a while. After a few seconds, it abruptly disappears and we can see the text "Mempersembahkan:" in the middle.
