1st Logo (February 21, 1989)
Logo: On a dark marble background, we see the stacked text "A Prospect PICTURES PRODUCTION". "Prospect" is in a written font with the "o"'s hole colored red, two thin lines are over and underneath "PICTURES" and two dots are next to said word. Underneath contains additional in-credit notices including a co-producer's name, the 1988 BBC Wales logo and the copyright notice.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the programme.
Availability: So far, it was seen on The BBC Diet Programme.
2nd Logo (January 11, 1993-1995)
Logo: Similar to the previous logo except the background is white with a fog-like texture, "A" is inside a red sphere, the dots next to "PICTURES" is removed, and "PRODUCTION" is red
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the programme.
Availability: Extinct; seen on early episodes of The Good Sex Guide and There's No Business, neither of which have known exposure on home media.
3rd Logo (July 11, 1995-February 16, 2013)
Logo: A shell resembling the letter "P" is inside a blue box with the spaced out text "PROSPECT" inside a red rectangular box. Over and underneath the logo will typically read "A PROSPECT PICTURES PRODUCTION".
Bylines:
- Before 2008: None.
- 2008-2012: "Part of DCD media" with said company's logo next to its name.
- 2010: "part of DCD Media"
Variants:
- Sometimes, the boxes are colored purple and green with the shell intact.
- On some programmes, the boxes are not only blue and orange respectively, but the shell image was replaced with a metal object resembling the same letter.
- This variant may also come in a different color scheme like blue and red.
- On I'm Your Number One Fan, the "P"-resembling image consists of metallic and curvy object.
- Programmes produced by the company's Welsh offices adds "CYMRU" underneath "PROSPECT".
- Likewise, the above variant may read "PROSPECT FILMS".
- Sometimes, the DCD Media byline is squished.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the programme.
Availability: Despite it being used for more than 15 years, this logo is very rare due to many of its programmes no longer being reran and are hardly found via off-air prints.
- Was seen on lifestyle programming such as Nigella, Daily Cooks Challenge, Good Food Live, and several documentaries such as The Tallest Tower: Building The Shard, The True Story of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and My Brilliant Britain.
- This logo hasn't been used since 2012 as the company hasn't released any new programmes.
