Background

Psychic TV (also referred to as PTV, Psychick TV, as well as several other aliases) were an English experimental video art and music group, formed by performance artist Genesis P-Orridge and Scottish musician Alex Fergusson in 1981 after the break-up of Throbbing Gristle.

Logo (1988)

Visuals: The sequence starts off with a test card with a skull in the center (which is a Psychic TV album) fading in. The footage then fades to an abstract maroon "PtV" acronym spinning on a black/white stripe background while leaving a small trail.

Technique: Fading effects and live-action model work.

Audio: "No Go Go" by Psychic TV, which is slightly slowed down.
