1st Logo (September 7, 2007-April 11, 2008)
Logo: We can see a grainy brown surface, where the hand writes the theorem solution (the image is mirrored). The hand ends the writings and draws a square. The square grows up and turns red, while all other objects disappear, and QED International can be seen above.
Trivia: The company's name stands for Quod Erat Demonstrandum ("which was to be demonstrated"), a Latin phrase used after the end of mathematical proof. The filled square is also a symbol of this statement.
FX/SFX: Simple animation of the square, and live hand movement.
Music/Sounds: Calm note playing.
Availability: Can be found on The Hunting Party and Smart People.
2nd Logo (September 26, 2008- )
Logo: On a dark background, an explosion bursts with a heap of golden mathematical symbols, which fly towards us in a red light. Then they stop flying, hang around for a second and are pulled back into the square. QED International in the same font, but shining, rise above.
FX/SFX: Much more effort here, the flying symbols in CGI. This was done by yU+co.
Music/Sounds: Explosion sound, flying sounds, then the pulling-back noise.
Availability: Current, seen in films like The Lucky Ones, District 9, The Echo and others.
