Logo (1990s?-unknown retirement year)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a shiny, blue and gold down-pointing triangle swoop down from the top of the screen to the center of the screen as the fancy gold letters "R" and "G" fly in from both sides of the screen and place themselves in the top two corners of the triangle. A gold ampersand then fades in between both letters as a gold bar flies in and places itself underneath the letters. The spaced-out word "VIDEO" fades in on the bar as it does so, and the gold parts of the logo shine three times.

Technique: 2D animation, possibly done by a computer.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on a number of VHS releases, some examples including Warriors of the Wind (the original English dub of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind), Transylvania 6-5000, Beryl Markham: A Shadow on the Sun and Highpoint. All are New World Video reissues by Starmaker Entertainment. This does not, however, appear on Hellraiser (it does appear on the first sequel, Hellbound: Hellraiser II).
