Background

RFX Interactive was a video game developer founded in 1998, located in Nanterre, France. They were liquidated in 2003 after heavy losses.

(2000-2002)

Logo: On a black background, the text "RFX" can be seen in bold, white Arial. 2 of the letters are modified, however, with the "R"'s leg being formed from a large white ray, and half of the "X" formed from a rainbow-colored ray. Both of these rays are coming off of a abstract drawing of an disc. Below all this is the text "developed by" and "RFX Interactive" in a larger print size.

Variants:

  • GBC games feature solid bars of color for the rainbow, but GBA games contain the logo in a higher-quality with a gradient rainbow ray.
  • On Tonic Trouble (GBC) and Toonsylvania, there are some notable differences. The logo is now inside of a black box on a white background, though the rays pierce through it a bit, only "Interactive" is seen below the logo, and "DEVELOPED BY" is in a small digital font. Toonsylvania has the latter text shift to the left corner of the box.
  • On Dinotopia: The Timestone Pirates and Turok: Evolution (GBA), the logo is a bit smaller, has the rainbow ray's reflection on the floor, and has "Interactive" below the logo. The disclaimer is still present in a smaller, italicized print.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Uncommon. It can be seen on the games listed above, as well as Inspector Gadget: Operation Madkactus, Antz Racing (GBC), and Lady Sia.
