RKO-Pathé Pictures was founded in 1931 after RKO acquired Pathé Exchange, until it was completely shuttered in 1932 and was folded into RKO Radio Pictures.

Logo (July 17, 1931-1932)

Visuals: On a cloudy tower, there is a rotating globe with a rooster on top, similar to the RKO logo; the words "AN RKO-Pathé PICTURE" are in the middle. While the earth is rotating, the rooster spreads his wings, and crows.

Technique: Live-action footage, featuring a live rooster, a model globe, a smoke effect, and a superimposed graphic.

Audio: The rooster crowing.

Availability: Seen on newsreels from the era. Also seen on Sweepstakes.
