The following is a compilation of international variants of both RKO Radio Pictures logo.
Background
RKO Radio Pictures International was the International Division of RKO
Italy
1st Logo (1936-1959)
Logo: Same as the American Counterpart, but the text either says "La Radio Pictures presenta" (1930s) or "la RKO Radio Films presenta" (1940s-1959) in the same font.
Variantː Depending on the film, it can be slightly toned in different colors, like in green commonly seen in the 1930s and in gray.
FX/SFX: Same as its american counterpart.
Music/Sounds: Same as its american counterpart.
Availability: Very rare. It was only seen on Italian prints of RKO Radio Pictures movies such as It Happened Tomorrow (alongside with the next logo). The "Radio Pictures" version was seen on films like the Italian print of the lost film Deluge.
2nd logo (May 28, 1944)
Logoː Same as the American Counterpart, but with the text "FINE" placed in front.
FX/SFXː None.
Music/Soundsː The Movie's Opening theme.
Availabilityː Only seen on a Rai 1 airing of It Happened Tomorrow.
France
(1950-1959)
Logo: On a cloudy background we see a radio tower situated on top of a still Earth globe. The radio tower is sending out signals illustrated by lightning bolts and sound waves coming from its transmitter. The text "Un Film RKO" fades in itself on the logo in a thunderbolt font.
Trivia: Unlike the American version being a model, this is a painting made with aerograph.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: The opening theme to the film.
Availability: Extremely rare. Seen on French prints of films from RKO like Blackbeard the Pirate.
