Background
Ravensburger Interactive Media was a video game subsidiary of the German company Ravensburger. The company published educational software and casual titles. A sub-brand called Fishtank Interactive was founded in 2000 to expand to the core gaming market without losing the family-friendly charm of the Ravensburger name. In 2002, the company alongside Fishtank were sold to JoWooD Productions.
1st Logo (1997-2002)
Visuals: There is the Ravensburger triangle logo on the bottom right, and in the middle is "Ravensburger" in its trademark font, and "interactive" (with the "v" stylized like a checkmark arrow) in red or gold below. Sometimes, "Presents" or "Präsentiert" appears below "interactive".
Technique: Fading effects.
Audio: None or the opening theme of the game.
Availability: It mainly appears on German distributions of games such as the German version of The Pink Panther: Hokus Pokus Pink and various Cryo Interactive and Humongous Entertainment titles. In other countries like Europe, it appears on Famous 5 adventure games, Scotland Yard and Money Mad! all for the PC.
