Background

Raw Nerve is a American film production company founded by Eli Roth, Scott Spiegel, and Boaz Yakin in 2004.

Logo (January 6, 2006-June 8, 2007)


Visuals: A liquid that appears to be blood appears on a black background, and forms quickly into a puddle. Inside the liquid, there is the following:

RAW
NERVE

The puddle freezes after a few seconds.

Variants:

  • On Hostel, the 3rd Next Entertainment zooms to the left and this logo plays next to it. The logo is also filmed and has a outline.
  • On Hostel: Part II, the logo plays to the right of the Next Entertainment logo, which is shifted to the left.
  • At the end of both movies, the print logo is shown. On the left, there is the closing variant of the Next Entertainment logo.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio:

  • Hostel and Hostel: Part II: An ambience sound with a liquid dripping.
  • Closing variant: None.

Availability: Seen on the first two Hostel films.
