Variants:
- On 1988-1989 releases, the text is in all-caps.
- On several 1991-1993 releases, the "COMING SOON" text is in a blue Revue font over a black-dark green gradient background.
- A sub-variant exists on the 1993 VHS of The Jazz Singer (1980), where everything is in shades of pink instead.
- On the VHS releases of Red Shoe Diaries 2: Double Dare, Lucy and Desi: Before the Laughter, and Knight Moves, the text is red on a white background.
- On the 1994 VHS of Ticks, the text is in a different font and colored gold, and the background is different.
- On the 1993 VHS of Shadow Hunter, the text is in a different font and colored bronze, and the background is black.
- On the 1993 VHS of The Hills Have Eyes Part II, a different font is used on the "COMING ATTRACTIONS" clip-on and the color of the text is red-blue gradient.
- On the 1993 VHS releases of In the Line of Duty: Ambush in Waco and Martial Outlaw, another different font is used and the background is blue marble.
- On the 1994 VHS of Scanner Cop, another different font is used.
- On the 1994 VHS of Direct Hit, it is placed on a black-pink gradient background.
- On the 1997 VHS of Penny Serenade, "Original Theatrical Trailer" is in italicized Book Antiqua font and in gold color.
Technique: A fade-in and fade-out.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen on virtually most of the Republic Pictures Home Video releases from the early 1990s. Tapes that have this include the screener tape of In the Cold of the Night, and the retail releases of Santa Sangre, Femme Fatale, Son of the Morning Star, Cadence, Breaking Point, Tomcat: Dangerous Desires, Body Bags, In the Line of Duty: Ambush in Waco, and Ruby in Paradise. The "COMING SOON" clip-on can be found on the 1991-93 VHS releases of Denial, Total Exposure, Separate But Equal, The Sect, Lower Level, Ralph Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings, and Highlander.
2nd Bumper (August 24, 1994-October 15, 1996)
Visuals: We see a zoomed-in version of the bald eagle from the Republic Pictures logo in a blue tint as clouds below it move right slowly. On this background, one of the clip-ons below appears, either by fade-in or it is already there.

Availability: Appears on the VHS releases of Stalked, Rent-a-Kid, The Tin Soldier, and The Road Home, among others. Strangely, the "FEATURE PRESENTATION" clip-on does not appear on The Babysitter, Beyond Forgiveness, and Zooman (although the Laserdiscs of the former two do have it). These bumpers debuted on the 1994 VHS of Raw Justice.
3rd Bumper (November 19, 1996-September 25, 1998)
Visuals: On a tan-light brown gradient background with several transparent Republic Pictures bald eagle designs slowly moving upward at an angle, one of the clip-ons below appears in a light blue Times New Roman font.

Audio: An orchestral music score, with an announcer saying one of the following:

- Feature Presentation: "And now, Republic Pictures is proud to bring you our feature presentation."
Audio Variant: On the "Coming This (month)" variant, there is no announcer and the music score is slightly extended.
Availability: Seen on some Republic Pictures Home Video VHS releases such as Open Season and Thinner. The "Coming This (month)" and "Priced for Sell-Through" clip-ons appear on demo tapes of the era, such as Night of the Demons 3.
