Background

Right Stuf Inc. (formerly known as The Right Stuf International Inc.) is an independent video publisher and distributor of video programming that specializes in Asian entertainment (anime and live-action films), founded in July 1987. The company has several divisions, including Nozomi Entertainment (production), Critical Mass (adult titles), RightStuf.com (online store) and 5 Points Pictures (live action).

1st Logo (1997-2000s)

Logo: On a white background, there are two red lines. The word The is above the top line, the words "Right Stuf" are between the two lines, and the words "International Inc." are below the bottom line.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A calm theme with a jangling guitar and synthesized string section, ending with a rising synth sound and a last note. It almost sounds like the New World Television music.

Availability: Seen on some anime tapes from the time.

Editor's Note: This logo could've used more effort, but the music is very nice.

2nd Logo (Early-Late 2000s?)

TBA.

3rd Logo (Late 2000s- )

Logo: On a black background, a fiery yellow spark draws out the text "RightStuf", with the "f" in "Stuf" being semi-enclosed inside a stylized exclamation point.

Variant: Beginning in the 2010s, the same animation is used but now with Right Stuf's current logo, which consists of an exclamation point in a circle with the text "RightStuf" next to it.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on current releases from the company. It also follows the Nozomi Entertainment logo on that label's releases.

Editor's Note: TBA.
