Background
Ripcord Games was a publishing label of Panasonic Interactive since 1997 to 1999, when it was privately sold, and closed the year after. However, they continued to exist virtually to support their products until 2002 and was officially announced to be liquidated in 2009.
Logo (September 15, 1997-1999)
Visuals: On a white background, a rolling saw blade appears, with red eyes and angry teeth. It leaves, cutting the screen a few times as the background changes to red and back to white. Then the background wrecks and falls down in fragments, revealing a red background with a yellow circle and pill-shaped logo with "r i p c o r d" in an action font, and "G A M E S" below. The sawblade rolls into the circle.
Technique: 2D computer animation. This was done by Iron Design.
Audio: A non-stop chainsaw squeal, along with the glass breaking sound when the background goes down.
Availability: Seen on Space Bunnies Must Die! and Enemy Infestation. On other games, the logo is still.
