Logo: The logo starts in the same way, with the car turning over the night road. But then the road transforms into a river landscape. The car lights stay for a second, move, then dissolve. The letters design is the same, but they are all in black, placed over the river, as there are no more outline.

FX/SFX: Moving car and lights, the static water.

Music/Sounds: Only the metallic creek.

Availability: More common, appears on Lust, Caution, Into the Wild and Food, Inc.

1st Logo (December 9, 2005-November 10, 2006)


Visuals: A car is seen turning over a night road. The camera zooms out and the picture brightens, revealing a big river with the mentioned road on its left bank. This becomes enclosed inside a square as "R I V E R R O A D", in black with a teal outline, and "E N T E R T A I N M E N T", in a teal-silver gradient, appear inside and below the square respectively. "R I V E R R O A D" is placed over the river.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Car engine sounds followed by a deep string entry.

Availability: It was seen on Brokeback Mountain, A Prairie Home Companion and Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus.
