Background

RobTop Games AB is a Swedish video game company. Founded by Robert Topala, the company name is derived from Topala's personal email account. [1] The company is best known for the Geometry Dash video game series, but has produced other games such as Boomlings.

Logo (May 14, 2012-)

Visuals: Over the default Geometry Dash level background, there is the black text "ROBTOP" with a very thick orange outline around it.

Variants:

  • A version without squares on the background exists. This was used on Boomlings.
  • Trailers have incorporated this logo in various ways:
    • The trailer for Boomlings has the logo slide in from the top, then shift to the left after a few seconds to begin the trailer. [2]
    • The logo is also incorporated into the initial Geometry Dash trailer, moving as part of the "Polargeist" level. [3]
    • For the Geometry Dash Update 2.2 trailer, the logo appears as part of a dark platformer level. The player cube is seen in the lower left corner of the screen, which then slides up below the logo and hits it a la Super Mario. The screen then shakes, and zooms in to begin the trailer. [4]
  • Starting with Geometry Dash update 2.11, the logo is a bit bigger
  • the Geometry Dash logo is included when loading into Geometry Dash.

Technique: A still image consisting of digital design.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Geometry Dash, Geometry Dash Lite, Geometry Dash Meltdown, Geometry Dash World, and Geometry Dash SubZero. The plain blue variant can be found on Boomlings and Boomlings Match-Up.
