Background
Robert Cooper Films was originally formed in 1978 by television producer Robert Cooper to produce made-for-television movies. In 1987, it attempted to sell the company to Alliance Entertainment Corporation, but the deal never materialized. In 1988, they teamed up with David R. Ginsburg to start out Citadel Entertainment, thus absorbing the unit.
Logo (October 26, 1986-1988)
Visuals: On a black background, a white curve draws in. Then another curve draws in, forming what looks like the initials "rc". Then the logo zooms out, and the text "ROBERT COOPER" wipes below the logo.
Variant: A short version exists.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: A whooshing sound, and then a synth bell. Sometimes, the end theme plays over.
Availability: The full version was seen on Florida Straits. It also appeared on The Return of Ben Casey and Adderly.
