Background

This is the production company of Robert Greenwald.

(October 14, 1985-December 11, 2006)

Logo: On a black background, a interconnected, 3-D "RG" is seen just above the center, being mostly colored back except for the metallic blue sidings, as a thick diagonal pink line wipes in behind it, fading into the background. The "RG" then starts to gain the rest of its metallic blue color, right as a pink line is drawn below the logo and "ROBERT GREENWALD PRODUCTIONS - INC." fades in-between the line. The "RG" shines brightly twice.

Variants:

  • Most of the time, the logo is shortened to the shining.
  • On a 2002 DVD of Disappearance, the logo is shrunken to a smaller square in the middle of the screen.
  • On Hammer, Slammer, & Slade, there's only the company name in white.
  • An IAW notice appears under the logo on The Dead Will Tell, which also has the logo shrunken in size and shortened to just 1 shine.

Technique: The logo appearing, the shining.

Audio: An 8-note synth tune, the ending theme of the movie, or none usually.

Availability: Seen on numerous TV-movies.
