Background

This is Gene Roddenberry and David Kirschner's production company.

(October 6, 1997-May 13, 2002)

Logo: The letters "RK" zoom out over a background with Earth and a black planet with a red outline (probably supposed to be Mars). The letters are holes in a transparent white background in front of Earth and Mars. As "RK" is zooming out, Earth is moving upwards and Mars is moving downwards, toward "RK". A flash of light occurs behind Earth, which takes up the whole screen. When it dissipates, we are left with this:

RK
RODDENBERRY
K I R S C H N E R
_______________
P R O D U C T I O N S

"RK" has a bit of red in it, and all of the text has a white shadow behind it.

FX/SFX: All of the animation.

Music/Sounds: A new age ditty, with a voice singing wordlessly. Composed by Micky Erbe and Maribeth Solomon, the composers for Earth: Final Conflict.

Availability: Can be seen on Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict, which, as far as I know, is gone beyond off-air recordings (a clue for those who want to find it: the show was distributed by Tribune Entertainment, and it likely aired on the Tribune stations).

Editor's Note: None.
