1st Logo
(1982-1994, 2001)
Logo: On a blue background, we see a shiny gold geometric "R" with a gold crown on top. The "R" zooms out to reveal this shiny gold text below:

Variant: Another version of this logo exists that has a background with a lighter shade of blue, the logo is silver and doesn't shine as much as the gold logo, and the text is already revealed before the logo zooms out.
FX/SFX: The zooming out of the "R" to reveal the text below it.
Music/Sounds: A 6-note fanfare. Sometimes, the logo is silent.
Availability: Seen on TV movies such as The Christmas Gift, the mini-series Master of the Game, and the theatrical movie Back to the Secret Garden.
