Background

This is Ryan Murphy's production company. It was renamed to "Ryan Murphy Television" in 2017.

1st Logo (September 29, 1999-May 18, 2001)

Logo: On a smoky black background, we see a red line forming. Then the words "Ryan Murphy Productions" slide in from above the line and the cursive words "Roundtable Ink" slide in from under the line.

Variant: On the Popular episode "Two Weddings and a Funeral", the logo is sightly shorter.

FX/SFX: The background, the words sliding in.

Music/Sounds: A one-note synth tune. On episode 2 of Popular, it added a four note fanfare.

Music/Sounds Variant: On the Popular episode "Two Weddings and a Funeral", a female choir said "I'm a greatest star who've ever learned".

Availability: Seen on Popular.

3rd Logo (August 5, 2003-April 23, 2017)

Logo: On a black background, a small cube with alternating green and white faces, spins as it moves left quickly, leaving the words "RYAN MURPHY PRODUCTIONS" in white. The cube then stops with one green side facing us, creating a small flash of transparent green squares and containing an abstract sun, which spins clockwise as if it were a loading icon.

FX/SFX: Simple animation.

Music/Sounds: None, or a Fox and NBC generic theme with voiceover announcements. On Nip/Tuck, the end theme plays over it.

Availability: Uncommon. Seen on seasons 1-6 of American Horror Story, Nip/Tuck, Glee, The Glee Project, The New Normal, Scream Queens, season 1 of American Crime Story and Feud.
