Background

S4C Clasuron Fideo (S4C Video Classics) was the home video division of the Welsh-language television channel S4C.

1st Logo (1990-1993)

Logo: Same as the 1990 S4C logo, except "CLASURON FIDEO" and "VIDEO CLASSICS", in red, fade in above and below the S4C logo respectively.

FX/SFX: Same as the 1990 S4C logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 1990 S4C logo.

Availability: Rare. Welsh-language tapes of Joshua Jones and Sam Tân (Fireman Sam) should have this.

2nd Logo (1993-1997)

Logo: The "Dragon Standard" ident plays, but when it begins to spit fire the screen zooms-out to set in a white-border rectangle with "S4C" and "Clasuron Fideo/Video Classics" fading in above and below it respectively.

Variant: With the network's rebranding in 1995, the "S4C" logo was updated, and the border is red.

FX/SFX: Same as the S4C "Dragon Standard" ident, with the zooming.

Music/Sounds: Same as the "Dragon Standard" ident.

Availabilty: Found on later videotapes such as Fireman Sam: Safe with Sam.

Legacy: Beginning in 1997, the S4C idents from the time began to be served also as de-facto home video logos.
