===Background===
SBP Worldwide S.A. was a home video distributor that was founded on September 26, 1996 by Fabian Ariel Beries and Daniel Parise after the sale of Combien S.A. (which consists of Luicna/Live Video) from their relatives. In 2001, it bought out the assets of [[Transeuropa Video Entertainment]] and combined it to form TVE-SBP, which was in charge of 70% of the Argentine DVD titles. In 2015, Parise launched a division, SBP Cine, in order to bring successful major motion picture/home video distributors onto the market, and it distributed titles from all major studios from the next few years. Until 2021, it was the only major video distributor existing in the market, it was defunct due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Argentinian video market was moved to digital and streaming.
