Background
Saban Brands was established by Haim Saban through Saban Capital Group, Inc. after re-acquiring the rights to the Power Rangers franchise (as well as all the Power Rangers-related series) from The Walt Disney Company on May 12, 2010; Disney previously acquired his former company Saban Entertainment in 2001 and reincorporated it as "BVS Entertainment". Saban would later re-acquire the English dubs of Digimon on September 25, 2012. During its lifespan, Saban produced the Power Rangers franchise's newer installments for Nickelodeon and Netflix. It also operated a film division, SCG Films. In May 2018, Hasbro acquired several of Saban's properties including Power Rangers, and in December 2018, the company was shuttered.

Visuals: On the left side of a space background is the Earth moving to the left and the sun moving to the center. Then, three red ribbons, two from the right and one from the left, fly in and form the Saban logo (which appears as a revised version of the 1996 Saban Entertainment logo). Once the logo is formed, the words "SABAN Brands" appear letter by letter, both set in Avenir. Finally, the sun fades from left to the center.
Variants:
- A 4:3 version also exists. The same goes for the short version. However, it is in 16:9 squished to fill the 4:3 format.
- A short version of the logo in which the ribbons come from the sun to form the Saban logo exists. The text appearing and the sun fading are also faster.
- On Power Rangers Samurai for the Nintendo DS, the logo is an all-black print on a white background.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A guitar-driven sounder, composed by Rama Kolesnikow.
Audio Variants:
- In the short version, the music is shortened. This is only heard on Power Rangers Samurai Steel.
- On Netflix prints and recent television broadcasts of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and VR Troopers, the closing theme of the show is heard.
Availability: Seen on every Power Rangers series from Power Rangers Samurai to Power Rangers Ninja Steel (first two episodes only; the rest of the series uses the next logo), as well as Julius Jr. and Glitter Force (the English dub of Smile PreCure!).
- It also appears on the DS game Power Rangers Samurai and the iOS game Power Rangers Samurai Steel.
- It also plasters the 1988 and 1996 Saban Entertainment logos on Netflix prints and television broadcasts of past Power Rangers series and other Saban Entertainment produced shows, including Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation and VR Troopers, respectively.
2nd Logo (February 4, 2017-December 1, 2018)
-
SCG Films variant
Visuals: On a black background, the camera pans around a glass globe with gold continents and transparent oceans (which looks to have lights inside of it) and zooms backwards to the center of the screen. As this happens, the transparent oceans get filled with gold as well. The globe stops in the near-center of the screen and the gold letters "SABAN Brands", and the trademark symbol in tiny print, fade in below the globe. Three streaks then draw themselves into the globe from the left, forming the Saban logo, as the continents disappear from the globe.
Trivia: This logo was inspired by the previous Saban logos, as well as the CBS Films, Lionsgate, Relativity Media and Universal Pictures logos for reference. The logo's case study can be found on designer Yawar Raja's YouTube channel here.
Variant: A longer version exists. It starts with three gold strands zooming past and several other strands spreading from the corners of the screen, tipped with bright lights. More strands slowly spread, drawing in the globe as hexagonal lights appear, which draw in the continents. The rest of the logo follows normally, except the animation is slower and the text reads "SCG Films". The final composite had "SABAN Brands" instead.
Technique: CGI by Yawar Raja and Shahriar Rahman at Factorial Productions.
Audio: A proud 5-note fanfare with the last note held for a couple of seconds.
Audio Variants:
- The longer version uses a repeating four-note twinkling buildup with a violin underscore, before going into a 12-note fanfare, with the 11th note held out mid-length, and the 12th note being held out longer.
- The final composite had a different version of the fanfare.
Audio Trivia: For the long version, notes 3-6 match the short version, and the last note is held longer than the short version.
Availability: It debuted on the third episode of Power Rangers Ninja Steel and was seen on further episodes of the series (and its second season, Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel) as well as Luna Petunia: Return to Amazia, Glitter Force Doki Doki, and Treehouse Detectives.
- The SCG Films version was only seen on the 2017 Power Rangers movie.
- Starting with Power Rangers Beast Morphers, the Allspark Pictures (or, as of Dino Fury, Entertainment One) logo is used instead due to Hasbro's acquisition of most of Saban Brands' properties.
Unused Logo
Molten Gold (2017?)
Visuals: Molten gold splashes like waves in between three white bars. The gold hardens as the screen zooms out to form the Saban logo as a globe with some golden continents. When it's done zooming out, the text "SABAN Brands" appears to the right in an unknown way and the logo turns to print.
Technique: CGI by Michael Daniels at Devastudios.
Audio: Unknown, as all we have are style frames.
Availability: Unused. Can only be seen in the form of style frames on Michael Daniels' website here.
