Background

This is the production company of filmmaker David Lowery, which he founded in 2011. The company didn't have a logo until 2014.

1st Logo (January 20, 2014-July 25, 2019)

Later variant
Inverted variant

Logo: On a black background, we see a silhouette of a bear wearing a sailor hat. Below it are the stacked text in white, "SAILOR BEAR".

Variants:

The later variant just shows the name and it is a bit bigger.
An inverted version appears on Strange Angel.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening/closing theme.

Availability: It was seen on independent films such as Listen Up Philip and Light from Light. The inverted version appears on Strange Angel on CBS All Access. Strangely doesn't appear on the films Never Goin' Back or A Ghost Story, despite Lowery being involved in them.

Editor's Note: Not as much effort here, but that changes with the next logo.

2nd Logo (January 24, 2020-)

Logo: On a black background, we see a silhouetted ghost-like look fade in, as a white border zooms out from it. Then, it flickers a bit, showing some ears on top and revealing the words "Sailor Bear" underneath. It stays still for a bit before it cuts to black.

Variant: At the end of The Green Knight, only the company name is shown.

FX/SFX: The zoom out from the border, and the flickering. None on the variant.

Music/Sounds: Some thunder sounds followed by some growl-like sounds, or silence.

Availability: Current. It first appeared on the independent film Miss Juneteenth, and was later seen at the end of The Green Knight, though the print logo with the silhouette was used on promotional material for said film.

Editor's Note: This is an improvement over the previous logo, just not as much.
