Background
This was a production company owned by the controversial director John Waters.
(March 17, 1972-May 27, 1977)
Logo: On a black background we see the word "SALIVA" (in a pink font where every letter, except for the "I", has a tongue attached to it). The word "FILMS" (in a different font and smaller) is below the word "SALIVA". Then, the words "LAYS ON YOU..." (in white and in a font that looks similar to Arial Black) fade in.
Technique: Fading effects.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: There are only a few films released by this company: Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble and Desperate Living; those are the best places to look for the logo. Despite the DVD of Pink Flamingos removing the logo, Vinegar Syndrome's 2016 DVD release of Sextoons keeps it.
