Background

Sam Yeong Films was a film company from South Korea.

Logo (January 14, 1989-August 27, 1995)

Visuals: The screen zooms out from a starfield background, as a rainbow appears and spirals into the center, causing an explosion. The scene then switches into planet Earth surrounded by two rotating neon blue grids. The screen zooms into the Earth as two rainbows appear, forming an arc surrounding the planet. The Earth and the rainbows flash, turning into a metallic gold emblem. The emblem backs away slightly as "SAM YEONG FILMS" gets wiped in by a spark of light.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: So far, it appears on The Smart Little Kang-si and Guns and Lipstick.
