Background
Samico Films Production Co., Ltd. was a film company from Hong Kong.
Logo (April 5, 1989-February 16, 1996)
Visuals: On a black background, a golden light expands and curves upwards at the bottom, The light then dims, turning out to be the curvature of a revolving golden globe in the space background surrounded by two searchlights. The camera zooms back, the searchlights turn into a triangle made out of filmstrips, which zooms out to fit the globe, "三和電影製作" and "SAMICO FILMS PRODUCTION" then flash in below.
Variants:
- On Forbidden City Cop, a shortened variant is shown.
Technique: A mix of hand-drawn and CGI.
Audio: A drum fanfare, then a rising crescendo (a la the THX Deep Note).
