Logo (1976-1989)

Visuals: On a black background, the stacked text "A SANDLER INSTITUTIONAL FILM" appear one line at a time. Following this, an "s" in a white circle appears where a red and orange color fill up both sides of the shape. Lastly, the copyright notice appears below.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, there is no copyright stamp.
  • On If Mirrors Could Speak, the logo is still.
  • A later version has the line of text rewritten to read "A SANDLER FILMS INCORPORATED PRODUCTION".

Technique: The text appearing; the colors filling the logo. [possible misuse]

Audio: None or the ending theme of the film.

Availability: Can be seen on 16mm educational films from this period such as If Mirrors Could Speak and The Interview Film: What to Know and What to Do. This logo does not appear on their science fiction movies except for UFOs: It Has Begun, which has this logo on its VHS release.
