===Background===
===Background===
In 2019, following the death of Dolly Parton's friend and former [[Sandollar Productions (1985-1998)|Sandollar]] partner Sandy Gallin, [[Dixie Pixie Productions]] was renamed '''Sandollar Productions'''.
'''Sandollar Productions''' is the production company that was originally formed in 1985 by manager '''San'''dy Gallin and actress/singer '''Doll'''y P'''ar'''ton. Among the first works they produced was ''A Smoky Mountain Christmas'' and created a TV subsidiary of its own '''Sandollar Television''' to produce TV productions. It originally produced film and television productions, with its biggest hits including ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' and ''Angel''. In 1998, Sandy Gallin and Parton split their ties, with the company becoming '''Southern Light Productions''', although the Sandollar brand continued to be used on ''Buffy''-related media. In 2015, the company became '''Dixie Pixie Productions''' to produce made-for-TV movies, and in 2019, it went back to the original Sandollar moniker.
