1st (known) Logo (1970s-1987)

Logo: On a purple background, there is nothing for 2 seconds. Then, a burst of light quickly appears and disperses, revealing very small yellow text. The text then suddenly goes under and over to the middle of the screen, revealing it as the word "SANDREWS". Copies in the back of it do this up to 4 times before a ping appears on the 1st "S". Below it bottom right side, "presenterar" appears in sync to the drums. Another ping appears on the 2nd "S" before it fades out, leaving the background.

FX/SFX: The animation of the text.

Music/Sounds: A sparse drum soundtrack, with a reversed cymbal sound and a chime for the 1st ping.

Availability: Seen on many Swedish VHS prints such as Robocop, En Mot Alla, Catacomb, Drug Wars II, Hardware, Tales from the Darkside, The Dead Zone, Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, Nattbuss 807, Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, Mortal Kombat: The Animated Video, Man's Best Friend, Hero and the Terror, Braddock: Missing in Action III, En Gång Snut, Alltid Snut, Highlander: Bara En Överlever, Witchboard 2: Djävulens Röst, and many other titles.

Legacy: The unexpected zoom-ins and dark drums can startle some folks. The logo itself is so simple and low-budget.
