(1971-1972)

Screen Gems Australia (1972)

Nicknames: "S from Australia", "S from Down Under", "S from Purgatory", "Boomerang S"

Logo: "A SCREEN GEMS AUSTRALIA PRODUCTION" appears on a black background, in which after a fraction of a second appears to be zooming out on a dot. Two boomerangs appear from the top left and bottom right corners and approaches towards the dot. The boomerangs then morph into the familiar strips of the "S" logo, while "SCREEN GEMS" appears on the bottom of the formed "S".

FX/SFX: The boomerangs, the text.

Music/Sounds: A majestic brass theme that interpolates elements of "Waltzing Matilda" and the familiar "S from Hell" theme.

Availability: Extinct. Recently resurfaced on one of the two pilots of The Graham Kennedy Show, which dates to 1972.
