'''Screenlife Games''' was a video game developer founded in 2001 by Craig Kinzer and David Long. The company was responsible for the DVD board game ''Scene It?'', which helped bring the genre to popularity and spun off a series of editions of the game (''Nick Scene It?'', ''Disney Scene It?'', ''Scene It? Jr.'', etc.). In addition, Screenlife also developed other DVD board games such as ''DVD Blast!'' and a series of game show games co-created with Endless Games. In October 2008, the company was bought by [[Paramount Digital Entertainment]] and, due to DVD games becoming less popular in favor of mobile apps, was shut down in 2012. |

Background
Screenlife Games was a video game developer founded in 2001 by Craig Kinzer and David Long. The company was responsible for the DVD board game Scene It?, which helped bring the genre to popularity and spun off a series of editions of the game (Nick Scene It?, Disney Scene It?, Scene It? Jr., etc.). In addition, Screenlife also developed other DVD board games such as DVD Blast! and a series of game show games co-created with Endless Games. In October 2008, the company was bought by Paramount Digital Entertainment and, due to DVD games becoming less popular in favor of mobile apps, was shut down in 2012.
1st Logo (2002-2005)
Visuals: The logo starts on a retro-styled film countdown that counts down from 5 (with the numbers done in Scene It?'s normal timer style). When it reaches 1, the text "S c r e e n l i f e" fades in from the middle to the sides. "P R E S E N T S" in white appears below, and everything moves away to the right transitioning into the opening menu sequence of the respective Scene It? game.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: The sounds of a film projector accompanied with beeping. When the text moves away, the opening sequence is heard.
Availability: Seen on most first-edition Scene It? games from the period, starting with the original.
2nd Logo (2005-2008)
Visuals: Two dice fly in from the right of the screen. As they bounce up again, it reveals that they are going down a pathway of different board games (chess, checkers, etc). The dice bounce all over and through the board games until they make their way into a television screen. When they go in the TV, they turn into the two dice used in the Scene It? games. As this happens, the Screenlife logo at that time (a blue tilted rectangle with "screen" on it over a blue square and "life" next to it) appears with a blue glow. The final result is when the finished logo is above the two dice on a black background with what appears to be smoke and a light shining from "screen".
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A dramatic theme plays throughout with a distant whistle at the beginning. When the dice go into the TV screen, an intense whoosh is heard as the music finishes.
Availability: Seen on most Screenlife games from the period, such as Scene It? games and DVD Blast!.
3rd Logo (2007-2010)
Visuals: On a black background, a rounded square with a film countdown in it is seen. The picture goes black as the square fills with blue and it is revealed that it's the "screen" rectangle from the previous logo. As "screen" glows out of it, the square tilts to its normal position as a gray filmstrip flies in and spins underneath the logo, revealing the text "GAMES" in it. The logo shines and glows against a blue aurora background, and stays there for a few seconds before the filmstrip flies at the screen.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Film countdown sounds, ending in a chime theme.
Availability: Seen mostly on Scene It? games for the Wii and Xbox 360.
4th Logo (2010-2012)
Visuals: On a white background, several blue squares appear as a larger one slides in to reveal the"screenlife" text popping in. Then, the large square hops into the smaller ones to reveal the Screenlife logo at that time. A flash occurs as a border surrounds the squares.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Electronic popping sounds are heard when everything slides in. Then, a robotic-like signal and a synth note are heard.
Availability: Seen on all Scene It? games from 2010 to 2011.
