Background

The Sega Away Team was originally established in 1993 as "Tiger Team" to assist in North American development of the Sega Saturn, and developed its original games for the Sega Saturn. The division was merged into Sega of America in 1996.

Logo (August 28, 1995-March 31, 1996)

Visuals: On a white background, there are four blue vertical lines, and on the bottom is the Sega Saturn logo. Below it was the text "SEGA AWAY TEAM" in the same font as the Sega Saturn logo.

Variant: On Black Fire, the logo is on a black background.

Availability: Seen on the Sega Saturn games of Bug!, Black Fire, Ghen War and Congo the Movie: The Lost City of Zinj.
