Background
The Sega Midwest Studio was originally formed in 1992 in Chicago to develop two games for the Sega Genesis, and acted as a division of Sega of America, as one of the four core divisions of the company, along with Sega Interactive, Sega Technical Institute, Sega Multimedia Studio, and later Sega Away Team. It was shut down in 1995.
