Background
The Services Kinema Corporation was the film production company that produced training films for the British Armed Forces. It merged with part of the British Forces Broadcasting Service in 1982 to form the Services Sound and Vision Corporation.
Logo (1970?-1982)
Visuals: The logo depicts of three slanted white squares with the letters "SKC" on each of them. There is a red bar passing through the squares and covering them with red borders.
Variants:
- On some films, the red borders are absent.
- On Fighting in Villages, the squares are black and the letters in white.
Technique: A still, printed image.
Audio: Silent or the opening/closing theme.
Availability: Found on training films from the era such as Fighting in Villages, Radar Development and others.
