Background

This is the production company of actor Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia, and it was founded in 2012. The company's name comes from the amount of cash Johnson had in his pocket after he was released from the Canadian Football League in 1995 and before he signed with the World Wrestling Federation. The company didn't have a logo until 2013.

7 Bucks Entertainment

(June 6-August 1, 2013)

Logo: On a black background, we see the text "7 BUCKS ENTERTAINMENT".

Variant: On early episodes of Wake Up Call, "$" is added before "7" and "ENTERTAINMENT" is replaced with "PRODUCTIONS".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A one-note rock theme.

Availability: Seen on the reality TNT series The Hero and early episodes of Wake Up Call.

Seven Bucks Productions

1st Logo (December 12, 2014-)

Logo: We see a gray outline of a Samoan mask against a black-gray background. Underneath the mask is the word "SEVEN BUCKS" with "PRODUCTIONS" underneath in white. The logo zooms in while the mask shines.

Trivia: The Samoan mask in this logo is the same one tattooed on the center of Johnson's left pectoral.

Variants:

  • A still version exists.
  • The logo sometimes shares the screen with other logos.

FX/SFX: Just the shining and zooming in. Sometimes, none.

Music/Sounds: None or the closing theme.

Availability: It was first seen on later episodes of the short-lived reality TNT series Wake Up Call. It also appeared on Ballers, the documentary television film Rock and a Hard Place, The Titan Games and Young Rock. Don't expect this to be seen on the company's films (with the exception of the Disney+ original film Stuntman). With a new logo being introduced in 2021, this logo’s days are numbered.

2nd Logo (November 5, 2021-)

Logo: On a black background with red fog, the golden parts fly to form into the mask from before. Then, the words "SEVEN BUCKS" and "PRODUCTIONS" from the first logo fade in underneath the mask.

FX/SFX: The flying and forming. CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: Dramatic music which syncs to the movement, or the opening theme.

Availability: Current. Debuted on Red Notice, and later seen on DC League of Super-Pets and at the end of Black Adam. It's expected to appear on future films and shows from the company.
