Background
Seven Keys Video was the home video subsidiary of Seven Keys Films, that was formed in 1981. It was collapsed in 1988, along with its parent company.
1st Logo (1981-1988)
Visuals: Same as the Seven Keys Films logo.
Variant: Like the film logo, there is one variant where "PRESENTS" is absent from the logo.
Technique: Cel animation.
Audio: Same as the Seven Keys Films logo.
Audio Variants:
- Like the film logo, later releases had silence or the movie's theme, oddly enough, probably due to plastering a company's logo.
- Some tapes have the intro to Fire And Ice by Marietta Waters playing over it (and the following copyright warning): Seven Keys was an official video distributor for the film.
Availability: Seen on video tapes from the period released in Australia and New Zealand, including Fire And Ice, Casanova and Company, and Shockwaves.
2nd Logo (1983-1986)
Visuals: On a blue background, there is a small white 7K logo just like before at the top of the screen with "SEVEN KEYS VIDEO" below it in a futuristic font. The words "Always Entertaining" are wiped below in a neon -ink script.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Just an announcer saying "Seven Keys Video. Always entertaining."
Availability: Seen on later Seven Keys tapes such as New Gladiators 2072 A.D., A Certain Sacrifice, and Stanley.
