Background

Shamim Ara Productions was the main production studio of Pakistani film actress Shamim Ara.

1st Logo (1 November 1974-11 November 1994)

Logo: On a dark and cloudy background, we see a statue with an A on the top and an S on the bottom, with a person holding a candle blocking some of it., The text below it says "SHAMIM ARA PRODUCTIONS".

Technique: Live action.

Music/Sounds: A deep announcer saying the same dialogue from Rangeela Productions.

Music/Sounds Variant: Starting in 1978, the announcer is different and noticeably deeper.

Availability: Uncommon, seen on many films from the time such as Miss Colombo, Miss Singapore, Lady Commando, Lady Smuggler, Bhool, Aakhri Mujra, Jiyo Aur Jeene Do, and Play Boy.

2nd Logo (30 August 2002)

Logo: We see the stone letters "S" and "P" in a glowing blue outline surrounded by a stone ring that is also in a glowing blue outline. Then, the stone text "Shamim Ara" in cursive appears from the right side and travels to the bottom of the logo. A flash appears at the bottom which reveals the underlined stone word "Productions" in cursive as well.

Technique: Early CGI.

Music/Sounds: A low-pitched render of the Gujjar Art Productions theme, which is possibly stock.

Availability: Rare, this was only seen on Kaun Bane Ga Crorepati.
