Background

Shapiro Entertainment Corporation was a medium to low budget distribution/production/sales company started by Leonard Shapiro and Alan M. Solomon in 1981. The company turned into Shapiro Glickenhaus Entertainment in either 1987 or early-to-mid 1988 when it merged with Glickenhaus Films, a firm owned by James Glickenhaus.
