Background

Shine Australia is a division of the Shine Group set up in January 2010 to produce various reality TV shows. They took over the Australian productions of The Biggest Loser and MasterChef from FremantleMedia Australia in 2011 and 2012 respectively. They also produced the hugely successful Australian version of The Voice. They merged with Endemol Australia on July 26, 2015 to form Endemol Shine Australia.

1st Logo (2011-June 2012)

Logo: On a gold background, we see a bright yellow flash in the center of the screen. The corporate Shine Group gold egg flies out of the flash and rotates to the left on a shiny background. In the egg is a reflection of the Australian flag. Next to the egg are the words "SHINEAUSTRALIA". Underneath is a slogan "INSPIRE. CREATE. SHINE." On the bottom of the screen is the company URL.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A mix of angelic sounds followed by a long bell note.

Availability: Seen on all Shine Australia productions during this time period such as MasterChef Australia and The Biggest Loser Australia.

2nd Logo (June 2012-2013)

Logo: On a bright white background, we see the gold egg in the middle of the screen. It then moves to the left like in the previous logo and has the Australian flag in its reflection. Then a bright light moves to the right to reveal the words "SHINEAUSTRALIA" one by one in the same style as the last logo. Then one by one in a small flash the slogan from the last logo "INSPIRE. CREATE. SHINE." appears.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Seen on all Shine Australia productions starting with the season 1 finale of The Voice Australia and then-current episodes of MasterChef Australia until 2013.

3rd Logo (2013-2015)

Logo: A flash occurs. It is from one of the stars of the egg from the former logos. The top part is seen spiraling into the egg while the egg turns. The name from the former logos appears on the right, but the byline is in a different font. The whole logo flashes onto a gray background with a light yellow surface.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the last two logos.

Availability: Seen on all Shine Australia productions from 2013 to 2015.
