Sri Surya Movies

1st Logo (1987?-1996)

Logo: Against a live-action background of a sunset, we see the words "SRI SURYA MOVIES" (in green) at the bottom fading in.

Variant: An open-matte version exists where it is letterboxed for 4:3 screens.

Technique: Fading effects.

Music/Sounds: A triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Seen on some movies in the Indian sub-continent from that period, mostly Indian.

2nd Logo (1998?-Mid 2000's)

Logo: We travel a blue galaxy with a belt of stars surrounding a yellow spherical substance, which looks like the Sun. We zoom into it. We then cut into a gold screen, which zooms out and gets revealed to be one of the letters of the company name "SRI SURYA MOVIES". The name flashes once it's placed before we suddenly cut to black.

Variant: On Telugu movies, instead of the cut to black, the name would flip into the Telugu translation, which then flashes and fades out.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic fanfare with some other sounds.

Availability: Very rare. Spotted on their more recent movies including Nayak: The Real Hero. Telugu variant was spotted on Padayappa and Kushi.
