Background
Sideshow Cinema is a production company started by Michael Legge. Legge wrote, directed and starred in every B-grade movie he has made, alongside friends and family members. A majority of his films are comedy movies, occasionally mixed with horror. His film Braindrainer actually won an award at the B-Movie Film Festival in 1999.
(1987-1999)
Nickname: "Black Smoke", "Slideshow Cinema"
Logo: All the logo consists of is the company name inside of a silver outline, being slowly revealed under black smoke.
Technique: The smoke slowly disappearing.
Music/Sounds: A deep warbling noise that sounds like an air-conditioner being put underwater and played in slow motion.
Availability: Seen on shot-on-video horror movies made by Legge such as Braindrainer and Potential Sins.
Legacy: The black smoke rising and creepy "music" will probably be more important to some viewers, but the cheesiness will lower it for some. Considering that the following is a horror movie, the scariness is purely intentional.
