Background

Signature Entertainment is a British film production company founded by Marc Goldberg in 2011. In April 2018, FFI, the holding company of Film Finances Inc. acquired Signature Entertainment which was later re-acquired by its original stakeholders in 2021.

1st Logo (2011-2015)

Visuals: The company's name in a 3D, cursive font is seen being written on a white background. Once finishing the "g" in the name, the logo spins around and shows multiple blue tiles forming a blue gradient cube. Now facing the screen, the logo becomes 2D with a part of the text overlapping the square becoming inverted as well as "ENTERTAINMENT" fading in below.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Ambience noises accompanied with whooshes and zaps.

Availability: Uncommon. Can be seen on Home & Alone for Christmas and Legends Of Oz: Dorothy’s Return.

2nd Logo (2015-2022)

Visuals: On a teal background with a vignette, a light is seen bursting with a light trail coming out and spinning around and more lights emerging from the background. Shortly after, it is shown to forms the letter "G", then "N", and "A" before zooming out to reveal "S I G N A T U R E". The light trail continues to bounce around before leaving the screen and re-entering it, followed by scribbling underneath the text and stopping and disappearing at the bottom of the screen.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A modern, electronic fanfare that starts off soft before being more bombastic at the end. On The Ice Road, the logo is low-pitched.

Availability: No longer current. Can be seen on UK prints of Willy's Wonderland, Norm of the North (plastering the Lionsgate Films logo) and The Ice Road.

3rd Logo (2022-)

Visuals: The screen zooms through a camera lens spinning on a teal/red tint. Then, a red light appears as the screen zooms to the underlined word "SIGNΛTURE" with the "Λ" connected with the line. After a few seconds, the logo shines.

Technique: Live-action and CGI.

Audio: Some camera noises alongside a dreaded synth.

Availability: Current. Seen on recent releases in the UK. The logo debuted on Signature’s Facebook page.
