Silicon Knights (SK) was a Canadian video game developer best known for creating the GameCube games Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. In 2007, the company went into a legal battle with Epic Games, regarding misuse of the latter's Unreal Engine. In 2012, Epic won the battle, and as a result, SK went bankrupt in 2014.
